Sounds awesome and exciting! I wish you the best of luck in completing the remake edition of the first Combat Tournament game!
I did enjoy playing the original one and Combat Tournament Legends when I was younger before Flash had met its unfortunate end and that the latter game had started lagging like crazy, but nowadays I play both of the games via Flashpoint and there was no lagging issue whatsoever. :)
